At age 84, Frances still goes to the studio three times a week to
tape her role as "Alice Horton" in the popular series "Days
of Our Lives." Prior to her 33 years on the soap, she was a movie
and theater actress. Her screen debut was "Stage Door" with
Katherine Hepburn, Lucille Ball and Ginger Rogers in the '30's. Her
final film was the '60's cult classic "Seconds," in which
she starred opposite Rock Hudson. From 1966 on, Reid has enjoyed the
fast pace of serialized television.
